Description

Cityscape of Pripyat, captured from a 16-storey building on Lazareva street, with the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant visible on the horizon.

The image was created using a hand-made pinhole camera over a period of one year. Each trail in the sky represents one day of the sun’s movement recorded on a photosensitive material.

Each print is produced using a 10-colour archival pigment printing process on heavyweight 300gsm pearlescent photographic paper. For works larger than 13″x19″ please contact me directly.
