Chernobyl Cooling Towers in Winter

Photos don’t give justice to the overwhelming size of the unfinished cooling towers of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. One of the most iconic pieces of Chernobyl artwork can be found there – a mural painted by Australian street artist, Guido van Helton. The work depicts Igor Kostin’s photograph of a surgeon who operated victims of the accident.
