Yaniv station (станція Янів in Ukrainian) was the main railway hub for Pripyat, located less than a kilometer away from the southeast end of the city. A number of military vehicles used in the cleanup operation after the Chernobyl Disaster were left there on open air and are now slowly being cut for scrap metal and removed from the site. Some of them give readings well over 100μSv/h with few hot spots with few worse hot spots, mostly around the tracks and bottom of the chassis where they had contact with contaminated soil.
