Description

A solargraphic image of the “Friendship of the Nations” monument in Pripyat, symbolizing the partnership of the republics of the former Soviet Union.

Today, it stands among decaying buildings, invisible among the overgrown forest and almost forgotten.

It is difficult to imagine a better monument to that bygone era.
