Nowadays it is really difficult to find hidden gems in Pripyat. The city has been visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists, countless stalkers, explorers, and even vandals. While not many people have time or will to dig through piles of rubble, old papers, broken furniture and rotting floorboards. You can imagine my excitement when we discovered a genuine book from one of the most popular nurseries in Pripyat – Cheburashka, containing children’s drawings.

I have found items like this in remote villages in the Chernobyl Zone before, but never from a nursery in Pripyat that has been search throughout countless times in the recent years.
